 | 1. | Still holding down the #1 spot as far as I'm concerned, Evil Geniuses has the Excello countering advantage of the fact that they won't see Excello until the LAN Playoffs, where I see EG having a clear edge, and I don't mean that as a dig on Excello at all. Team EG will likely have a nice stroll through nuke against Exigent, and while I do expect undertow to improve on the four rounds they took from EG when they had last met on train, I don't think it will be enough to keep EG from an 11-1 record next week. |

 | 2. | A damn close second, and first if you're going by the Online head to head and actual rankings, I still think Excello needs to be as decisive on LAN before I subscribe to them being the new big contender in North American Counter-Strike. I see Excello going over Pandemic, but the compLexity match could be interesting. The last time the teams faced off, it went into epic overtime, and god only knows where compLexity is on the barometer right now. I think we could see coL make an example out of Excello and finally get back on track, though, that does feel like a long shot right now. |

 | 3. | Pandemic's rise to fame might be coming to a screeching halt. Excello is sure to put the hurting on them, Grt and all, simply because it seems like nothing short of Denzel could stop Excello right now, and if Loaded shows up with five guys ready to play, things might get rough. Though, Loaded has been a toss up for two seasons now so, as much as I'd like to see them get back into gear, I wouldn't quite bet on it. |

| 4. | Originally I thought 9StorM would have been picking up a free win from the former dynamic roster, but it seems as though players are starting to fill in, so that's up in the air. 9StorM vs. undertow however, is sure to be brutal, and next to Excello vs. coL, it's a Match of the Week candidate. I see 9StorM taking the edge of undertow, but it will be damn close, possibly even overtime. Better yet, we get to see them do it again on train in a few weeks. |

 | 5. | We're getting about to that area where things get much less decisive. Do Work had a rough run on dust2, but nuke could be an improvement. YummY will need to break out the allstar lineup for this match, or I give Do Work the absolute edge. The Blight match is a bit more weighted in Do Work's favor, and Do Work can shake off their back to back losses by putting an even bigger mark on Blight's brutal losing streak. |

| 6. | Looks like the compLexity boys are finally starting to come around. de_lite featured some close losses, but those could be neither here nor there depending on what ESEA Forum thread you ask, and while a win over Blight isn't exactly a throwaway, is it the kind of win we needed to see before we sent compLexity into the Lion's Den that is Excello? I'm going to go out on a limb and say that compLexity pulls it together and rights the ship while there is still time. Otherwise, we could possibly see the defending champions miss out on defending their title. |

| 7. | Probably the least consistent team in Invite this season, though, that's probably better than pulling an Exigent. YummY's big problem is that they're a pug roster that just shows up and plays, and while that is all fine, it's sort of like bringing a team of Pond Hockey players that are damn talented but let anyone who shows up play, and throwing them into the NHL. I would love to see this group of guys produce a serious lineup, and I guess if they make Playoffs, we could see it evolve from there but, who knows. Hey, at least they'll pick up a win over Exigent! |

| 8. | Rough week for a team that was finally starting to find it's footing. As I said above, I think undertow will improve on their last meeting with Evil Geniuses, but I don't see that improvement changing the outcome at all. 9StorM is in good shape to edge undertow out, though, if undertow is picking up a win this week, that's where it's happening. |

| 9. | Looks like dropping these guys down into the Power-Rankings gallows woke something up, well, at least enough for me to get flamed for justly losing faith in a team that was basically coughing up it's death rattle. Loaded has a tough but winnable schedule this week, if they had been practicing and if they can field five. Their status seems to change week to week, mostly settling on 'unknown', so I won't waste my time by even guessing. I just hope these guys get their act together because they're usually a pretty solid team. |

 | 10. | Blight is riding out a losing streak that would give Exigent flashbacks to Week 3, which sucks considering their opportunity to have stepped it up this season. There is still an extremely small window to try to make something of this season, and while the matches don't look to be favorable for Blight, you honestly never know. We can give them the benefit of the doubt and say they'll split these matches, but it feels like a stretch and likely will until these guys get out of their funk. |

 | 11. | These guys might be able to enjoy some time out of dead last if YoungMoneyUSA is in fact dead, but I get the feeling that come next week, we'll see Exigent back in the good ol' 12 spot. I really don't feel guilty for considering this team a free win anymore, and I hope they don't hold it against me, but, I can't be held responsible for their 10 game losing streak that is guaranteed to at least be an 11 game losing streak in about two days. |

| 12. | Possibly dead, though their roster is reforming. These guys may have thought about hanging it up for this season of ESEA with the server issues from last week, but you never really know. The bigger question is, if they are reforming, who's their fifth? I'm not really in contact with these guys too often so I don't even know if they care enough to pick one up right now, considering how their season is over either way. Better luck next time guys. |
